I think we all wish we could erase some dark times in our lives. But
all of life’s experiences, bad and good, make you who you are. Erasing
any of life’s experiences would be a great mistake." - Luis Miguel
My B-Day is coming up (Aug. 9th) and Michele took me today to go get an early B-Day Present. We met our friends Kevin and Pilen who live in LA in Alhambra where we went shopping for a Buddha statue. I've been looking for one for a while to put in a spot in our house and Michele made it happen. Special thanks to Kevin and Pilen who helped. Here's a quick vid of the day:
Last night I met up with a some bloggers that I stalk. Meeting new people hasn't always been the easiest thing for me and I thought about backing out a couple of times but I had a great time and it was really nice to meet Marcy and Laurie for the first time and it's always nice to spend time with Suz. They are much more professional/talented then me at this blogging thing but I walked away with some good advice and hopefully a clearer direction on where I want this thing to go. I also got to know them on a more personal level which is always much more interesting to me...and I got some yogurt which always makes an evening successful. Look forward to doing this again soon. Here's a pic of Suz, Laurie and Marcy (L to R):
Went the Psychedelic Furs tonight at the OC Fair with Suz, Larry, Lisa and Joe (see pic below) and Stacey. They put on a great show in my opinion. Richard Butler was full of energy. The whole hour plus was a walk down memory lane. Had a great time. I'll leave you with one of my favorite Furs songs:
I recently purchased this book but since I currently don't have a 4-Hour Workweek I haven't gotten around to reading it yet. That and I'm currently reading this book and this book simultaneously, both which I recommend. Although I do hope to one day "escape the 9-5, live anywhere and join the new rich." Just need to find the time to get on that...
